I'm lucky enough to be married to an accomplished oil painting artist and teacher (Joni McPherson on FAA). Long ago she taught me the techniques of oil painting. Unfortunately, I'm a very messy painter. I think she was pleased when I took up digital art. No more paint smudges on me or the carpet and I always sweep up all of the pixels that fall on the floor.
I am particularly fond of seascapes and sailing ships, so my work will probably favor those subjects.
